Stéphane Saussier
is a Professor of Economics and Public Management at the Sorbonne Business School (University Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne), where he leads a research group focused on the economics of Public-Private Partnerships. He has published over 50 articles, primarily in international peer-reviewed journals.

He frequently contributes to reports for international organizations, including the OECD, United Nations, and European Parliament. One notable report, co-authored with Jean Tirole in 2015 for the French Council of Economic Analysis, examined the efficiency of public procurement. His most recent report, co-authored with Emmanuelle Auriol in 2025 for CEPR, addresses the financing of long-term infrastructure projects in the EU.

Stéphane Saussier has also held research positions at the European University Institute in Florence and the University of Oxford.
